Of all information consumption online, 80% is already video. Video is the most impactful medium for marketing and sales. After all, we live in an overwhelming visual culture. Video is the second best form after human contact to make an emotional connection. An ideal tool for corporate and personal branding.

But video is also a time-consuming and complex, technical activity: from recording to editing. The right form and distribution also plays a major role in the success of any video marketing campaign.

As a digital marketer and video expert, Dimitri Stuer brings you an animated session with images and sound to immerse you in the magical world of image communication. You gain insights of an average video marketing strategy, you discover what makes video so attractive as a communication medium and get the latest trends. The 2-hour inspirational session 'When Marketing Moves' provides insights into the possibilities of video for many different purposes. Video is more than storytelling translated to 25 frames per second.

Bio Dimitri

Dimitri Stuer studied Applied Economic Science, specialised in marketing. A career in the fnancial world was obvious. But the lure of the media, radio and television, was too strong for him. He followed his heart and worked in the media for almost 20 years. Mainly at VRT, the Belgian broadcaster, as a producer, editor and presenter.

He started as an editor at the VRT trafc newsroom to announce trafc jams, but soon made his presentation debut at radio 1. Pretty soon after that, his career took off as a presenter/editor at the newly founded (radio) Donna and finally ended up at the largest family radio station in Flanders, radio 2. There he worked as an editor, presenter and producer. His morning show was one of the most popular programmes for 12 years.

Dimitri was a pioneer at VRTradio who was the frst self-supported 'on air' without technicians. He paved the way for what is almost the norm today: disc jockeys are both presenters and technicians at the same time.

The love for the radio medium will never disappear, but the "image" also beckoned. During a

career break at VRT he started working as a producer at the renowned TVproduction company 'TV De Wereld' from Louvain. (TV The World)

He was one of the founders of the third national commercial station, radio Nostalgie, together with other well-known ex-VRT colleagues.

In the meantime Dimitri also worked as a voice-over for Medialaan (now DPGmedia): recording of TV series on 2Be (today Q2) and Vitaya. He also made regular announcements for VTM.

The urge to do business independently could not fail. He left the traditional media and, with his company MotionBuilders, completely dedicated himself to online media with a focus on video, both production and marketing strategy.
